Laura at A Beautiful Mess shares a tutorial showing how to make these fabric planter buckets.  They’re made from two layers of twill (you could also use home dec weight canvas or duck), with thick rope and grommets for handles.  The bottom has a layer of plastic sewn in to help keep moisture from a watered plant from seeping through.  Or, leave off the layer of plastic in the bottom and use them as organizers throughout your house.  Go to A Beautiful Mess for the how-to.
