Meagan from Ava’s Lookbook shares a tutorial at Oliver + S showing how you can make a faux chenille yoke for a little girl’s dress. I’ve always thought of the faux chenille technique as using layers of flannel or quilting weight cotton, but there version uses tulle and netting for some of the layers. She shows this technique on the Oliver + S Hide & Seek Dress + Tunic pattern, but this would work on any basic bodice. Or… how about using it for a bag front or throw pillow?
