Alida from Alida Makes shows how you can make a faux fur pom pom.  This is a GREAT project for those smaller pieces of faux fur you might have left over from other projects.  She shows it as a topper for a winter hat, but it would also be cute on a hair band.  (I know this because my daughter has a faux fur pom pom hair band that we bought at the mall.  We spent far more on it than what we ought to spend on a hair accessory, but it was just. so. cute.)

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern
