These belly bands are made for maternity, but I think I need them for my non-pregnant self. I work part-time at our library and there’s a lot of bending and stooping, which can be bad if your shirt isn’t long enough. These stretch knit bands are worn around your tummy and have regular button-shirt hems sewn to the bottom. The long shirt hems add length to a top or sweater while looking like perfectly layered separates. Brilliant! Heather from Feather’s Flights shares a tutorial at DIY Maternity showing how to make them.
