Jeans buttons are made sturdy in order to take the stress and strain that they get with normal wear. Should the button come off, it’s a little more complicated to replace it than replacing a standard button. Jeans buttons are usually set with rivet, and when it comes off it can create a large hole on the back of the waistband. You can still fix it, though.
