We don’t get ice too often in Arkansas, but when we do I remember how much I dislike scraping ice from the windshield of my car. Of course, much of that has to do with me not having the proper tools. You wouldn’t believe the randomness I have dug out of the bottom of my car to use as scrapers (credit cards, cassette tape cases, etc). But even when you’re using a real deal scraper, there’s a good chance that some of that ice you scrape up is going to end up on your hands, and that’s just no fun. Staci from Crafty Staci shows how to make a fleece ice scraper mitt that will protect your hands while you scrap your windshield free of ice. It’s made from two layers of fleece so your hand will be kept plenty warm while scraping the ice and snow.
