Maris from Sew Maris shares a tutorial at Sew Mama Sew showing how you can make these spiderweb potholders. They measure 10″ x 10″ when finished, which is plenty big to protect your hand from a hot pan or cookie sheet. You could also use these as hot pads for the table. Or, made on a larger scale, they could be cute placemats. Her tutorial shows how to make one with sharp mitered corners and also a rounded corner version.
