Diane from Craftypod shares a tutorial for making her Happy Hexie Pins. It’s a fun project to use up some of your smaller fabric scraps. She shows a layered version made with two sizes of hexies, and also a grouped version that uses three of the same size hexie. I’m sure there are other combinations you could come up with as well. She uses a die cutter to make fast work of cutting all the hexies she needs, but you could also cut them by hand. Get the how-to at Craftypod.

Thank you so much, Anne! Absolutely – you can totally cut your hexies by hand. I have some videos on my site about using Google Drive’s free drawing tool to draw perfect hexies. You could print these on cardstock, cut them out, and then trace them onto the felt and fabric.
