Please be careful making those loops.
My baby daughter had a teddy with a bow round its neck, and one night I found she had put a finger into the bow loop and twisted it round until it had stopped the circulation in her finger. If it had not been seen till morning it could have been a serious problem.
If you use ribbon that is wider than the loop is long, you would be ok.
