Tutorial: How to create a memory doll to comfort a child

February 17, 2014 by Anne Weaver

Tutorial: How to create a memory doll to comfort a childAlida from Alida Makes shows how you can create a memory doll to comfort a child who has lost a parent or loved one.  The doll is made from a photo of the loved one printed on fabric.  The construction is fairly simple, but it does take some technical know-how to get the photo printed the right size so it can be used for the doll.  Alida used Spoonflower to make hers and she shares the settings she used, and then how to sew it up into a very special memory doll.  Go to Alida Makes for the tutorial.
