Suzannah from Adventures in Dressmaking shows how to make a hemfacing. This is one of my favorite ways to finish off the bottom of a dress or a skirt, particularly when it’s an A-line garment. When you fold under the bottom edge of an A-line skirt, you have to find a way to ease in the extra fabric. On a hem facing, not a problem at all. AND it looks so crisp! Go to the tutorial.
