Tutorial: How to sew better interior bag pockets

Geta from Geta’s Quilting Studio says, “Unless it is just a grocery bag, every bag deserves at least one pocket.” I couldn’t agree more! There are many different ways to add pockets to the inside of a bag, but the most common is a simple patch pocket. Geta shows how we can improve on the basic patch pocket by adding a pleat in the middle to accommodate 3-dimensional items. Her tutorial is part of her 10 Tips for a Better Handmade Bag series.
