Deanna from Sew McCool shows how to sew buttons by hand. The method she shows is one she learned from a 4-H sewing judge. It’s used for sewing on buttons that don’t have a shank, and will keep the button more secure on the garment while allowing it to slide through the buttonhole easily. Go to Sew McCool to see how.
