Finding a pair of jeans that fit – really fit – is kind of like finding a needle in a haystack. There are so many variables – the waist, the hip, the thigh, the rise, and more. Melissa from Blank Slate Patterns and Melly Sews devotes a blog post to identifying specific fit issues on jeans. She tries on a wide range of styles and brands of jeans and shows where they fit and where they don’t. Her post is part of her month-long I Dream of Jean-ie series with Sabra of Sew a Straight Line that will focus on sewing your jeans or altering jeans you already have. Go to Melly Sews to see her jeans fit guide.
