Stef from Girl. Inspired. shares a tutorial over at Riley Blake Designs showing how to make her I’m Running Away play knapsack. She designed this fun project to complement children’s survival play scenarios. It’s a cotton drawstring sack with a narrow pocket that fits over the end of a wooden dowel. The knapsack carried over the shoulder fits the drama of many play adventures, whether they’re pioneer children walking three miles to the school house or explorers discovering new lands.
