You know that feeling when you find a sewing project that’s equal parts adorable, festive, and easy to whip up? That’s exactly what I got when I stumbled upon the Carrot Treat Bag Free Pattern from Connecting Threads.
This little carrot-shaped pouch is just as cute as it sounds — a perfect blend of spring charm and handmade goodness. Whether you’re prepping for Easter baskets, spring parties, or just love whimsical sewing projects, this one’s a winner.
The pattern is totally free (yes, FREE!), and the instructions are super clear, even for beginner sewists. You’ll just need some orange and green fabric — think quilting cotton or anything with a bit of structure — and a drawstring or ribbon for the top.
The bag has a clever cone shape that mimics a real carrot, and the green “top” cinches closed with a drawstring, giving it that leafy, garden-fresh look.
