Tutorial: Key fob teacher gift, plus printable

Teacher gifts are hard.  You want to get them something nice, but not spend too much – especially if you’re buying for more than one teacher. You want it to be something they’ll like and use, but unless you’re super close to your child’s teacher you really don’t their likes that well.  And if you sew, you probably want it to be handmade – but you don’t want to spend too much time.  Kimbo from A Girl and a Glue Gun to the rescue!  She shares a tutorial for making a key fob.  They’re quick and inexpensive to make, and everyone can use one!  She also includes a cute printable saying “You Are the Key to Our Success”.  Teacher gift win!

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
