Back-to-school time is also the time when we sign our kids up for fall sports – and that means gathering together all the necessary sports equipment. Becky from Patchwork Posse shows how you can make a mesh sports cinch backpack. It’s big enough to carry a soccer ball, but you could also use it at the beach as the mesh will let the sand fall out. The tutorial is part of her Sewing Projects for Kids series, and it’s simple enough that your child could help in the making of it.
