We use cloth towels for most kitchen clean-up at my house. We feel they’re better for the environment and are also easier on our pocketbook. But they’re not pretty, especially not after they’ve been used to clean up a spill. Sabra from Sew a Straight Line shows how to make a zippered bag to hold your soiled kitchen towels until you throw them in the wash. It has snap tabs so it can hang from the oven door. Her tutorial is part of the Home Sewn series hosted by Susan from Living With Punks. Go to Sew a Straight Line for the tutorial.
