Remona from The Stitching Scientist shows how to make a little girl’s bubble skirt with a paper bag style waistband. This is such a pretty skirt for spring! The bubble skirt is made by doubling up the fabric, so there’s no hemming required. The waistband is easily made with elastic and a casing, with a ruffle at the top to create the paper bag style. She covered the casing with a coordinating ribbon. She gives the dimensions she used to make one in a size 3T, but she also gives the formulas so you can figure the dimensions to make any size.
