Crystal from Stitched by Crystal shows how to make a hooded cape, like her daughter is wearing as part of her Little Red Riding Hood Halloween costume. The shorter cape coming just above the knees is a good length for small kids. They can run around and climb steps without tripping over the bottom of their cape. It’s fully lined – use a contrasting print for maximum effect. A toggle at the neck is the closure.
