Nothing like a child’s growth spurt to create piles of too-small clothes. Gathered Threads shows how you can turn a pair of outgrown pants into a cute new bag. You’re only using the top portion of the pants so this is a great project for pants that have holes or worn spots in the knees. The sewing is super simple, perhaps even something your child could do (with assistance from you, of course).
