Babies rarely need a diaper changed when it’s convenient. Nope, it almost always happens when you’re out and about, and away from the well-stocked changing table in your baby’s nursery. Marissa from Rae Gun Ramblings shows how you can make a fabric changing station that you can toss in your diaper bag. This lightweight mat is made from a layer of laminate fabric and a layer of ripstop, with a pocket sewn on the side to hold a few diapers and a pack of wipes. It folds up and snaps shut. And when it gets dirty, just run it through the washer. The mat is easy to make, only a 30 minute project. This would be an awesome gift to give the next time you’re invited to a baby shower.
