I have a dedicated sewing space, but even with a room all for sewing I still don’t have space to keep a full size ironing board up all the time. Becky from Patchwork Posse shows how you can make a portable ironing board. It’s smaller than a standard ironing board and the dimensions are better suited to pressing sewing projects. Plus, it’s easy to put up – just put it on top of any flat surface. And when you’re done, you can slide it behind a door or bookshelf to store it out of the way.
