Tutorial: Make a pretty a pillow cover from a fancy holiday top

Tamara from Etcetorize shows how you can refashion a fancy holiday top into a pillow cover. The top might get worn just a few times, depending on how many holiday parties you get invited to, but the pillows can be enjoyed every day. She shows two methods for making them – one for a top with a straight hem, and one for a top with a curved hem. She used crushed velvet and velour tops for this project, but I think this would also be pretty with sweaters. This is a super easy project, requiring just a few simple seams.
