I love using my Swiffer mop for quick clean-ups. (Because at my house, “quick” is the only kind of clean-up that happens!) But what I don’t love are the throw-away pads that go on my Swiffer. Kathy from Sew, Create, Farm, Eat shows how you can make your own pad for a Swiffer using an old towel and fabric scraps. The toweling can be used as a wet mop for your bigger messes. Instead of throwing it away after just one use, you toss it in the washing machine to be used over and over. Get the tutorial.
