Tutorial: Make placemats from vintage tea towels

Rebecca Ringquist creates one-of-a-kind placemats out of vintage tea towels. She shares a tutorial at We All Sew showing how she does it. She embellishes them with satin stitching to highlight important dates or interesting images printed on the tea towels. She cut apart a UFO quilt top to make the binding, which adds even more color and interest to the placemats.
