Ring tabs are often used to attach a purse strap to a bag.   Most bag sewing patterns and tutorials will give instructions for making them, but the dimensions they give are generally to fit one size of ring.  What if you have a different size?  Or what if you want to add ring straps to a purse pattern?  Deanna from Sew McCool has a handy post for you.  She has a tutorial showing how to make the ring straps, and gives a cutting guide with measurements to make ring tabs to fit 1/2″, 1″, 1 1/2″, and 2″ purse rings.  Go to Sew McCool for the tutorial and the cutting guide.
