Anna from Plan B shows how you can make an make-up brush roll with a plastic lining. It’s a tidy way to carry your make-up brushes when you travel. The top folds over to protect the tops of your brushes and to keep them from sliding out. A couple of elastic bands will hold it shut when rolled-up. A layer of plastic underneath gives it a wipe-clean surface and also gives more stability to the fabric. You can also alter the fabric and pocket dimensions to make a similar style roll to hold knitting needles, crochet needles, crayons or markers, or any collection of long skinny items that needs organizing.
