Rarely do I have a zipper the exact length I need when making a zipper bag. That’s okay, though, because you can easily shorten a zipper to make it fit. Damjana from Apple Green Cottage shows how to shorten zippers and create fabric tabs to cover the ends when you install them in bags and pouches. The tabs are a pretty finish and will keep the ends of the zipper from getting pinched into the side seams of the bag.
