Double ended darts can create beautiful shaping in a bodice. They look like diamonds or pointy ovals on your pattern piece, usually at the waist in a dress that does not have a waist seam. Because they appear in the middle of a pattern piece (rather than at the edge like a single ended dart) you can’t mark them by cutting notches. Deby from So Sew Easy has a tutorial showing how to mark double ended darts, and how to sew them into your fabric.
