Becky from Patchwork Posse shows how you can use a metal measuring tape to make a snappy pouch closure. One inexpensive metal measuring tape can be used to make a bunch of little pouches. You’ll need two pieces of the metal tape for each bag, so a closure for a 4″ bag would need just 8″ of tape. Think of how many inches of tape are on each measuring tape! Her tutorial shows how to cut the metal tape and turn it into a pouch closure. At the end of her post, she gives links to other bloggers’ pouch tutorials that use this type of closure.
