Marni from Haberdashery Fun made this mesh zippered pouch to carry an extra change of clothes to her son’s daycare, and she shares a tutorial showing how she made it. It’s a vast improvement over the large plastic baggie that they had been using! The bag is big enough to hold a pair of toddler pants, a shirt, and a diaper. It’s labeled with her son’s name – she used a length of uncut label tape stitched across the top. Go to her blog to get the how-to.

Diaper bags are like the “tricks of the trade” kit. If you have a baby, you can not leave home without it. Choosing a diaper bag can be quite complex as you need to select one that meets all your individual needs. My best advice about sewing your own Nappy or diaper bag is POCKETS! and lot’s of them, they can be on the outside or the inside it doesn’t matter.
