Tutorial: “Messy ribbon” reverse applique

Sabra from Sew a Straight Line shows how to achieve a “messy ribbon” reverse applique.  She uses it to make framed St. Patrick’s Day and Easter decor for her house.  This technique will work with any large image with simple lines, and  can be adapted for any holiday theme.  Frame them like she did, or use as a pillow front or even on a t-shirt (smaller scale image, of course).  Go to the tutorial.
