The colorful polka dots on this shirt are actually metal brads from the craft store. The design is by Daniel Parker from Studs and Buttonholes. Though they look like they’re attached directly to the shirt, the metal prongs actually thread through grommets that are hidden underneath the brads. That way you can remove the brads for washing, or to replace with different ones. Go to his tute to see how to make one. And yes, he assures that the metal prongs are comfortable against the skin.
