You can make a mod shift swim cover up out of two towels. Catherine from Frisky Scissors shares a vintage project sheet from Martex towels telling how to do it. They’re made like a pillowcase dress, but out of absorbent terry cloth instead of a lightweight fabric. If you use towels that have fringe at the ends, that’ll end up as a cool hem detail. The measurements they give will make one in a teen or adult size, but you could easily adjust to make one in girls sizes, too.
