A “make-do” is a primitive style decorative object. The name refers to making do with the materials you have on hand to create something to decorate your house. Melony from Mel Designs shares a tutorial at Fairfield World showing how you can make a heart make-do from strips of muslin pieced together. It’s mounted on a wooden candlestick so it’s easy to display on a shelf or mantel.
