Tutorial: Notebook cover with a secret pocket for period supplies
My daughter starts middle school this year. I’m actually okay with it, kind of excited, really. But one thing I’m not so excited about – and my daughter is REALLY not going to be excited about – is the fact that we’ll need to stash some extra “supplies” in her backpack in case her cycle starts. And we’ll need to do it discretely because she does NOT want these things to accidentally fall out of her bag, or accidentally discovered by a friend.
Jennifer Priest from Just JP just shared the most perfect solution! She has created a cutest notebook cover that has a secret pocket to stash your monthly supplies. BRILLIANT! There is nothing about this notebook cover that says “period.” It’s adorable and has pockets on the inside for a notebook and pencils so it looks totally legit. But on the back, there’s a big secret pocket where you can stash the unmentionable school supplies. She shares a video on her blog showing how you can make one. We’ll absolutely be making this for my daughter!
