Tutorial: Patchwork placemats

Melanie from It Happens in a Blink shares a tutorial at Crafts Unleashed showing how you can make a patchwork placemat. The mix of color and pattern makes a pretty backdrop for a table setting. She used Jelly Rolls (precut fabrics) and fat quarters of coordinating fabrics, but you could also cut these pieces yourself from yardage.
