Melissa Mortenson from Fourteen May and Polka Dot Chair shows how to make a patchwork twirly skirt for a tweeny girl. The rectangles of fabric are sewn into a two tiered skirt, with contrast bias tape making a fun hem. She used four 1/2-yard cuts to make one in a girl’s size 10-12. It would be cute for younger girls, too; just adjust the dimensions down as needed. You can find the tutorial over at Polka Dot Chair.
