Dixie from Dixie DIY shows how she modified a basic A-line dress pattern to give it pretty pintucks at the front. The rows of pintucks are subtle detail that add interest without overwhelming. They’re sewn on a separate panel of fabric that is inserted into the front of the dress. Her tutorial shows how to adapt the dress pattern, how to create the pintucked panel, and how to assemble it into the dress. Her post is part of the 30 Days of Sundresses series hosted by Melly Sews.
