Liz from Simple Simon and Co. shares a tutorial for making a gathered skirt with pintuck detail around the hem. With a simple elastic casing waistband, it’s a quick skirt to sew. The pintucks are a pretty detail and will stand out best on a solid or lightly patterned fabric. The tutorial is part of the National Serger Month celebration from Babylock, and uses a serger to sew the entire skirt. If you don’t have a serger, though, you can still make this skirt on your regular sewing machine. Go to Simple Simon and Co. for the how-to.
