Usually when I think about cut off jean shorts, I think of frayed edges. But Bettina from Oh Everything Handmade shows how to add a neat piped edge. I love this idea!! The thin line of color around the hems and the waistband pops with the faded denim. And the more refined look that piping gives you makes a cool contrast with a pair of old jeans. It’s quick to do, especially if you use premade piping from the fabric store. (You can also make the piping yourself if you can’t find it in the color you like.)
