Jennifer from Be Still My Crafting Heart shares a tutorial at Riley Blake’s Cutting Corners College for making this Pizza Toppin’ quiet book page. Young hands can use buttons and snaps to attach cheese and toppings to build a pizza. The tutorial is part of their Quiet Book series, but you don’t have to be making a quiet book to use this tutorial. It would also make a cute stand-alone bit of pretend food for a child’s play kitchen. Go to Cutting Corners College for the how-to.

Quiet books or busy books are educational book/toys made with age or development appropriate activities for babies, toddlers and preschool-age children. They are interactive and tactile. These books usually involve a cause and effect result as well as visual aids to teach fundamental learning skills. These books also develop hand and eye co-ordination.
