Free Spirit Fabrics has a free PDF tutorial showing how to make a Pod Pillow in two sizes. They’re like fabric easels to hold a tablet or smart phone. The cutting dimensions are given within the steps of the tutorial rather than listed at the beginning. For the large Pod Pillow (big enough to hold a tablet), you’ll use two 9″ x 13″ pieces of fabric, plus a 2″ x 9″ strip of contrasting fabric. For the smaller Pod Pillow, you’ll need two 5″ x 8″ pieces of fabric, plus a 2″ x 8″ strip of contrasting fabric. You’ll also need some piping and pellet fill beads. Go to the Free Spirit Fabrics blog for a link to the PDF tutorial.

Great idea, thanks for posting the link. I will be making one a bit bigger for books. I read more than craft these days but with this pillow I will be able to read while I do something mindless, like stocking stitch sections. Love it and I have no idea why I never thought of this myself before now!!!
