Tutorial: Potholder loopers from old t-shirts

July 10, 2009 by Anne Weaver

potholderfromtshirtsWhen I was a kid, I had one of those potholder looms.  You know, the ones where you would weave cotton loopers to make potholders for your mom and grandmom?  They still make them, though now the loopers they sell are made from some icky polyester.

Flickr user Studiobeerhorst shares a photo tutorial for making your own pot holder loopers from old t-shirts.  You get a better material AND you’re recycling!  Go to the tutorial.
