Karen from Sew Many Ways shows how you can make a sewing kit out of a potholder. This is such a smart idea!! You’ll need to get a double potholder – a potholder with separate pockets for your fingers and thumb. The pockets will hold your sewing tools. You can divide them to hold smaller items like scissors or seam rippers. The pocket fronts make a good place to stick your pins, and the hanger can be used to attach your sewing kit to a bag. Or, do like she did, and attach a bobbin of thread.
