Tutorial: Practical mesh bags in two sizes

November 18, 2012 by Anne Weaver

Jo from Jo’s Country Junction shares a tutorial over at Moda Bake Shop showing how to make a mesh bag.  She made one for her son to hold his jumper cables and league softball stuff, and another for her daughter to hold her lunch and cheer gear.  Her tutorial includes directions for making a square bag and a long bag.  Get the how-to at Moda Bake Shop.

DIY Shirt Extender – Sewing Pattern

I like having a little extra coverage when I wear leggings, but I could never find a cute top that was just the right length. So I decided to make this Easy Sew Shirt Extender! This is so simple to sew and is an easy sewing project for beginners. It is easy to layer under your shirt or top of choice and I added some lace trim to mine for a fancier look. You can mix and match colors and fabrics to suit your needs!
