Susan from Super Mom – No Cape! shows how you can make this beautiful prairie point star Christmas ornament. The points of the star are made from squares of fabric folded into prairie points. This would be a fun project to use a package of pre-cut charm squares – or to clean out some space in your scrap bin.

Prairie Point Star Ornament Tutorial, by Super Mom – No Cape!

I never imagined that a short vacation to Japan would shift my entire perspective on crafts. I had always considered myself a “diy-er” before my visit, but I had never truly taken the time to appreciate the finer intricacies of handcrafted things. That all changed when a local merchant gave me a traditional origami fabric craft.
Since returning from Japan, I’ve been progressively collecting various fabric crafts and learning everything I can about this wonderful art form. I am now more aware of the work and effort that goes into each item, and I am slowly but steadily becoming a master of this trade myself.

I’d really like to try this pattern, but unfortunately cannot access web site for some reason “this page isn’t redirecting properly”. Any ideas on how to access this?
