Hemming a curved piece fabric, like on a circle skirt, can be challenging. The nature of circles is that the outer edges are longer than the inner edges, so when you turn in a hem you’re essentially needing to stitch a longer length of fabric to a shorter piece. Daniela from On The Cutting Floor shows how she puts a perfect hem on a curved piece of fabric. Her method creates a smooth curved edge! Go to On The Cutting Floor for her tutorial.
